I used this flat iron for the first time this weekend. I have color treated, SUPER curly/thick, unmanageable hair. The day I did it my hair was super curly all I did was comb it out (which made it into a poof) and then section straightened my hair. This amazed me I used the 375 heat setting and with one pass my hair was straight (due to the thickness of my hair I had to do the roots like 2 or 3 times to get it straight). Normally takes me 1.5 hrs+ with other irons and this took less than 30 min. My hair was so soft, shiny and it did NOT smell like fried hair like with other heat products. And it actually lasted!!! I did not get the waves at my roots back. Its been 2 days and looks like day 1 The only reason why this did not get a 5 was because the outside gets really hot, it needs like a cool spot to hold. I will never go to another flat iron EVER!!!

I recently made the decision to purchase a "good" straightener after getting my hair cut. I asked my stylist what she used and she told me babyliss. I did the research and decided to purchase this one.
This straightener is amazing! It normally took me 10 to 15 minutes to straighten my hair, sometimes longer. Today it took 3 minutes. My hair stayed that way all day (it was pouring outside) and was even that way after I finished my run. It was worth every single penny I spent on it.
It does get extremely hot so just be aware when you use it or set it down. My stylist recommended this type because she prefers the titanium to ceramic.
My hair is naturally curly and some of it can be coarse. It straightened today with no problem. I honestly felt like I just got done at the salon when I went to work. I would also recommend getting a good heat protector for your hair.
Overall wonderful buy! Plus it comes with a four year warranty.
