First I bought a smaller version of this (without strap) and realized it's not for vehicle, so I ordered this one.
I think it will be comfortable for a long drive, but you really need to adjust to fit to yourself. If your headrest is in right place, I think it works. I think if you are a passenger, this should be comfortable.

it is quite cushy and comfortable. However, your neck should be there, if you are a short person, upper half of the neck is there which takes some get used to, but you can rest head there too, so it is ok.
