I researched vacuums for weeks before deciding on this one and I know without a doubt I made the right choice. I got it from a Florida online retailer. The cord is long (29'), so unless you are trying to vacuum Montana, it should be plenty. I have a large home with hard floors and was able to do the entire ginormous kitchen, breakfast room and traffic area without changing the plug. It is a little noisy, but it's a vacuum, not a coffee maker. I've never owned a vacuum less noisy than this one. I cannot understand how anyone has been able to tip this canister over. The center of gravity is only slightly off the floor. The telescoping handle is great for tall people like myself and the power nozzle is light weight to the point I thought this could not do the job...but wait...the suction on this vacuum is far superior to any upright or canister I have ever owned in over 40 years. I got the grit off of a Florida home with two doodles and kids on one sweep. This is an exceptional value and a superior warranty of 7 years. Plus it is lightweight enough for me to use daily even with muscle pain without aggravation. I don't love housework, but this little gem will make the job less timely and highly efficient.

We had a Miele in the UK but upon moving to the US we opted for a very cheap Shop-Vac until we new we were staying for a longer period. Now we're back with a Miele, it's light, quiet and powerful. Our only issue is that the supplied hard surface head is useless and you need to buy the $70 parquet twister head...

Lightweight, easy to use, all rights things in the right place, great powerbrush. I was really surprised with the strength of the powerbrush. Great brand!
